3. Hosting

This website is hosted by Cloudflare (Cloudflare Pages). The provider is Cloudflare, Inc., 101 Townsend Street, San Francisco, CA 94107, USA; represented in the EU by Cloudflare Germany GmbH, Rosenheimer Straße 116, 81669 Munich. When the site is accessed, technically necessary data is processed (see Server Log Files). The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) DSGVO (secure, efficient provision of the website). Cloudflare provides a data processing agreement (Data Processing Addendum); the transfer to the USA is safeguarded by the EU Standard Contractual Clauses and the EU-US Data Privacy Framework. 4. Server Log Files

The provider automatically collects and stores information in server log files that your browser transmits (browser type/version, operating system, referrer URL, hostname, time of access, IP address). This data is not merged with other data sources. Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(f) DSGVO.

We use technically necessary cookies or comparable technologies. Non-essential cookies (e.g. statistics) are only set with your consent pursuant to § 25(1) TDDDG in conjunction with Art. 6(1)(a) DSGVO. You can change your selection at any time under Cookie Settings. We use your browser's local storage to save your selection. Currently, no non-essential scripts are loaded.

6. Contact Form & Funding Check

If you contact us via the contact/funding-check form or by email, we process the details you provide (e.g. name, email, company, description of your project) to handle your enquiry. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) DSGVO (pre-contractual measures) or (a) (consent). We only collect the data required to process your enquiry (data minimisation); no personal data is transmitted in URLs. Your enquiry is used solely to process it and is deleted as soon as it is no longer required and no statutory retention obligations prevent deletion.

7. Flat-Rate Calculator

The Forschungszulage (research allowance) calculator runs entirely in your browser. Your inputs are not transmitted to us or stored.

8. Web Analytics

Following your explicit consent (“Accept all”) we use Google Analytics 4, a web analytics service provided by Google Ireland Limited (Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland). Google Analytics uses cookies that enable an analysis of your use of the website. The legal basis is your consent pursuant to Art. 6(1)(a) DSGVO and § 25(1) TDDDG; you can withdraw it at any time with effect for the future in the Cookie Settings.

We have activated IP anonymisation, so that your IP address is truncated by Google within the EU/EEA. Prior to your consent, neither Google Analytics scripts are loaded nor cookies are set. A transfer of data to Google LLC in the USA cannot be ruled out; this is based on the EU Standard Contractual Clauses or the EU-US Data Privacy Framework.
